Affiliate links are a simple and useful thing that do not impact you negatively. There are 2 ways that affiliate links are placed throughout this website: the first is through banners placed around the blog pages and the second is through direct links within the text, which are based on products that I use on a daily basis, and which I think are pretty fantastic. This allows you to see how much I paid for the product and gives you an opportunity to have the same product that I do. The good news is that by you following that link and purchasing the product, I get a small portion of what you pay to Amazon (5-8%, in general). This doesn't change the price for you, you still get a great product for a great price, which I use everyday and that I find useful. It just means that Amazon doesn't get all of the profit of the product. So this doesn't affect you in any way but means that I can earn a little for endorsing products that I am using.
