This young red squirrel was scampering around amongst the flowering heather looking for nuts. His little wiry whiskers are very adorable and he came so close! It was a wonderful morning one summer. Scotland remains one of the strongholds for red squirrels in the UK due to the invasive and larger American Grey Squirrel that now populates most of the UK.

This is an unframed and unmounted print. The prints will be protected with paper and if there is any damage to the print from shipping please let me know and I will try and rectify the problem.

This is a perfect image for any animal lover and will look great in a dark frame, even black with a black mounting to make the lighter tones stand out!
